Class A Driver / Construction Worker – Demolition Crew
Seasonal Position (April–November) | Full-Time | Mpls/St. Paul & Surrounding Suburbs

Mill City Concrete & Masonry Inc. is a leader in high-quality residential concrete work, and we are looking to hire a full-time Class A driver / construction worker for our demolition crew.

This seasonal role runs from April to November. Workdays begin at 6:30 AM and typically end at 3:30 PM or when the job is complete (Monday–Friday). Hours may vary based on project needs, season, and weather.

• Compensation: $40+ per hour (DOE)

Job Responsibilities

• Demolish and remove concrete and other materials using mini excavators, skid-steers, and/or hand tools (depending on project scope)
• Install rough grades (Class #5)
• Drive to disposal sites daily

Qualifications

• Valid Class A endorsement required
• Experience with concrete excavation or landscaping
• Skilled in operating skid-steers, small excavators, and other equipment
• Ability to handle physical labor (wheelbarrows, shoveling, jobsite clean-up, moving materials by hand, etc.)
• Must be able to load and unload equipment safely without assistance
• Operate trucks and equipment in line with safety standards and DOT guidelines
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report issues to the owner
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned equipment
• Ensure job site safety by identifying potential hazards (e.g., utility lines, obstructions, etc.)
• Strong communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
• Dependable and consistent attendance
• Ability to organize and complete work within deadlines
• Valid health card and ability to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check
